Amar Reddy
Amar Reddy

Chief Executive Officer

Amar Reddy, CEO Smart IMS and Chairman for Smart IMS group of companies (ConnX) has 24+ years of experience as a technology professional, with wide-ranging roles in architecting and implementing large enterprise solutions in Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical, Insurance and Finance/Banking industries.

Prior to Smart IMS, he held senior technology leadership roles at Merrill Lynch, leading the engineering solutions for global voice and data solutions for all wealth management locations across the United States. He was an integral part of technology integrations for M&A that included many acquisitions, including a $9B merger/acquisition of $1 Trillion assets of Blackrock integration with MLIM. He has held senior positions in Marsh and McLennan, AT&T, Hoffman-LaRoche, and other public companies. He was one of the first employees with a startup Graypeak Technologies, helping the growth of company, later acquired by a NASDAQ traded technology company..

At Smart IMS, he focuses on providing enterprise solutions, supporting in building new technology and business practices, with his deep domain expertise in systems, applications and unified communications, along with acquisitions and overseeing global operations.
His philanthropy activity includes creating awareness on water contamination issues, school’s literacy development activity in rural villages and working with food banks in New Jersey. He provides mentorship to students in high school and undergraduate levels to encourage early entrepreneurship.

Mr. Reddy was also a co-Founder of INVAGEN Pharmaceuticals, Co-Founder of Symphony Pharma & Life Sciences, a high-growth CRO company with global presence.
He holds Master’s degree from the City University of New York, published author and won awards for his research work from the City University of New York.

Nagesh Gouravaram

Chief Operating Officer

Nagesh is the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of Smart IMS Inc. He has been instrumental in envisioning the direction of Smart IMS group of companies. Nagesh’s expertise has driven the organization strategy, leading to its global footprint across domains.

Nagesh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kakatiya University, India. Prior to Smart IMS, he founded a technology services company in India. A believer in valuing opportunities irrespective of industry, Nagesh ventured into pharmaceutical research, establishing Symphony Pharma. He is actively involved in funding for multiple Start-ups, thus encouraging young minds. Simplicity, diligence & global well-being are his core values. Nagesh has humbly taken up numerous social causes. Education, Agri, Public Health, Social Equality are a few other areas that he has contributed. Nagesh is an Engineer by training, an entrepreneur by spirit, sports person by interest, and a philanthropist by nature.

Indrajit Ghosh

Chief Executive – ConnX – Cloud & Managed Services

Global Thought Leader, Visionary & Strategist, providing strategic guidance on selection, incubation and go-to market across IOT, Security, Networking, UCC, Datacenter & Cloud practices. Indrajit Ghosh, has been successfully leading the charge to transform communications for some of the largest Global Enterprises and Service providers over the past 20 years.

A true visionary and strategic thought leader, Indrajit has been steadily building ConnX, into a company that has consistently evolved and remained relevant in a dynamic, rapidly changing industry with a Global perspective. Since co-founding the company in 1997, he has transformed ConnX, from a Global Consulting Services firm to a Premier Cloud & Managed Service provider. He lead the development of “ConnX Secure Cloud” service to deliver unique Communications Transformation Solutions for enterprise markets. ConnX is a “Secure Federated Service Broker” platform that delivers Software Defined Network (SDN) integrated with Unified Communications & Collaboration (UC&C) supported by the “Avatar Service Assurance” platform to deliver Security, Performance Management and Analytics.

Indrajit has advanced ConnX, both organically and through a strategic merger with Smart IMS, delivering 20 consecutive years of growth. Indrajit has the unique ability to anticipate market needs and is driven by a passion to help his clients to be the innovation leaders in their respective industries. Connecting every day with customers across Financial, HealthCare, Insurance, Retail and Telecom, he is committed to providing a personal focus and assuring that ConnX delivers a positive experience with every connection.

Steve Pitchon
Steve Pitchon

Managing Director-Cloud &
Managed Services

As Managing Director for ConnX Communications Technology, a Smart IMS Company, Steve Pitchon is tasked with growing revenue and profitability for the company across the sales team and within the Cloud and Managed Services portfolio. In his 14 years with ConnX, he has been instrumental in developing new accounts and new opportunities to showcase the services and capabilities and sell services across all pillars of the organization.

As we develop greater understanding of client requirements, Steve has also been instrumental in helping to craft new services to meet customer needs. Specifically, he leads the effort to build our Office 365 enablement process, managed and grew our ConnX Managed Services business and supported our professional services engagements and assessment service.
Prior to joining ConnX in 2004, Steve was a Client Business Manager with AT&T responsible for sales, customer service and P&L for the Merrill Lynch account. In his 21 years with AT&T, the most challenging opportunity was to help Merrill Lynch and lead the voice and unified communications team in the migration of their legacy voice platforms to a unified communications architecture. He also created a new service for emergency call redirection that is still in place today at Merrill and other large financial services customers.

Accomplished academic, he has Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Marketing and Multinational Business Operations from Florida State University.
Steve enjoys mostly spending time with his wife, two daughters, their husbands, grandchild especially and his dog, Harry. His hobbies include swimming, whitewater rafting, riding horses, music, travel, cooking, eating, and enjoying fine wine and spirits.

Rahul Srivastava
Rahul Srivastava

Executive Vice President – Life Sciences & EAM

Rahul Srivastava is the Head of Enterprise Application and Digital Technology at Smart IMS. Rahul is responsible for Strategy, execution and P&L for Enterprise Application and Digital Technology portfolio focusing on Enterprise application, Mobility, Big-Data/R Analytics, Cloud and IoT (Internet of Things) platform solutions, Services & Consultancy.

Rahul is a technology evangelist and brings a wealth of enterprise solution and Custom Solution development expertise across ERP, Middleware, Portals, BI, Cloud and IoT applications with cost optimized solution & implementation planning. He comes with a strong technical background combined with delivery excellence and operational mindset. He has a vast experience in managing large customers, particularly distributed, cross-cultural, cross functional and agile teams. As a thought leader, he carries a business oriented consulting experience that helps client in process re-engineering, and building a cost sensitive yet robust and effective technology solution.

Rahul is an Entrepreneur who has worked with leading organizations like Capgemini, KPIT, Tech Mahindra, Zensar, Sopra Steria etc. He contributed to high-profile, multi-shore pre-sales, inside-sales, delivery & competency development operations. Rahul has been a part of various IT governance and steering committees involving CIOs and CTOs of client organizations to advise on IT TCO analysis for capital budgeting, governance, alliance and partnership selection, implementation road plan, change & delivery management.

Rahul is a doctorate in Software Engineering, a published author and IT business and program management trainer and coach.

Shyam Vellala
Shyam Vellala

Executive Vice President – Insurance

Shyam Vellala comes with 25 years of experience in providing transformation, innovation, and delivery of high-quality business solutions to P&C Insurance customers in US and APAC geographies. He has previously held roles in business consulting, solution strategy, client management and delivery leadership. As the Business Unit head for our Insurance practice at Smart IMS, he is responsible for scaling up the practice and providing superior experience to our clients.

Shyam comes with successful track record in solving complex business problems and making high-stakes decisions using experience-backed judgment, strong work ethics and integrity. He has led several large transformational initiatives using global delivery models and set up CoE for industry-best Insurance products such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, One Shield and Majesco. Shyam enjoys working closely with key decision makers and excels in achieving operational excellence.

As a person, Shyam is a firm believer in expression of care and concern, motivates people to work towards a common worthwhile goal, a certified coach who is passionate about unlocking people’s potential and a philanthropist by heart. He is part of several community outreach programs.

Anil Chitale
Anil Chitale

Managing Director – Insurance

Anil has been at the forefront of the (P&C) insurance industry, with over 3 decades of mentoring, monitoring, and leading teams throughout his career. His expertise and commitment to advancing technology has led him to join Smart IMS Inc. as a Strategic Advisor and mentor.

Anil has a strong history of creating, delivering, and monetizing software assets and processing platforms for the North American P&C insurance industry. He was also one of the key players in the founding of STG, an NYC-based startup that provided product-based solutions for the US P&C insurance industry, which was later acquired by Majesco in 2008. As the chief architect for STG suite of Insurance products, Anil pioneered efforts for the insurance industry’s first solution in a hosted Application Services Provider model.

Anil’s experience and insight have been instrumental in helping to shape the North American P&C insurance industry. He is an invaluable asset to Smart IMS Inc. and our mission to bring technological advancements to the P&C industry.

Lou Rizzolo
Lou Rizzolo

Sr. Director, Business Development

Lou has over 25 years of strategic sales and business development experience, providing a full range of creative Information Technology services to large, mid-tier, and government clients, helping clients to build a world class brand image. He works strategically, as a consultative advisor to C level management to help determine solutions that include the tactical deployment of expert technology resources, in support of their key technology initiatives. His experience includes a strong focus on solution sales, using on, near, and off-shore delivery models, as well as strong experience selling a wide range of consulting services. His solution expertise includes developing, and selling knowledge management, content management, infrastructure support, application development, and quality assurance solutions.

Masoud Majidi
Masoud Majidi

Director of PMO and Strategic Alliances

Masoud Majidi is responsible for managing Program and Project Management Office. In that capacity, he is responsible for on-time and on-budget delivery of all of ConnX’ Managed and Cloud Services projects. Masoud is also responsible for managing all strategic partner relationships, ranging from contracts and financials to solution development and offer management.

Prior to Joining ConnX, Masoud spent 20+ years in major telecomm companies (AT&T, Lucent and Avaya). At Avaya, he was the director of IT Back Office Operations, responsible for managing all server, storage, backup and DC Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery, messaging, middleware and ERP systems, among other things.

Recipient of Marvin Harold Cheitman Award for highest academic achievement, Masters in Computer Science from the prestige Rutgers University, New Jersey. Ranked first among more than 1900 students at Rutgers with 4.0 GPA, Golden Key National Honor Society Scholarship, Recipient of the Outstanding College Student of America Award Trained in Cloud Computing, API, Certified in Agile Program Management, Disaster Recovery.

Robert Sese

Director of Architecture and Engineering

Robert also heads product development for introduction of new technologies and services, as well as ongoing enhancements to delivery of current services, including the ConnX Smart IMS Avatar Monitoring and Management Suite. Application development services have been introduced for large-scale deployment using scripting and automation to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Robert Sese has over 20 years of professional engineering and management experience over a diverse range of technologies including Enterprise and Trader Voice, Contact Center, Network and Security, Application Development, Market Data, Low Latency Networking, High Speed Trading, Data Center and Network Management.

Major accomplishments include:
Trading Communications transformation of over 10,000 traders from disparate platforms to a centralized and highly available IP-based Trading Platform.

Deployment of a five-city Contact Center with 7,000 seats for a top Shipping Enterprise with region-based routing that accomplished an operator-assisted transfer rate of 6 seconds per call.
Transformation of an international Health Insurance Provider from disparate PBXs to a centralized SIP-based UC Platform.

Development of an Enhanced Services Engineering and Operations Organization for a major Global Financial Corporation to implement and support market data and low-latency trading services with advanced network and application signature monitoring with microburst event detection.

Robert Sese is a private pilot with over 100 hours of flight time. Robert is also a retired semi-professional musician playing lead guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums and saxophone. Robert’s family shares his passion for music, art and flying.

Gary’s career spans 26 years, primarily in the field of tech sales and marketing. His work in the financial and insurance sectors revolved around digital transformation of business processes.

As an executive leader with a profound and powerful vision, he leads with a decade of experience with some foremost multinational insurance companies. He has been able to forge multiple Guidewire collaborations and built powerful partner ecosystems. In addition, he has extensive delivery and program management experience and managed implementation of over 100 million USD in programs.

In addition, he has built and led teams to win commercial and government contracts. He is open to new ideas and keen to pursue excellence in operations, digital disruption, and providing cutting edge solutions for his clients.
As an innovator, he is committed to maintaining excellence in operations, and staying at the forefront of delivering solutions.

In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with family.

Arun Soni
Arun Soni

Executive Vice President -Client Service Execution and Automation

Arun Soni is a global business technology leader and IT services executive with over 16+ years of experience in strategizing IT for the business. At Smart IMS, he is responsible for managing Global Delivery, Engineering, Dev Ops, PMO, and Service Management functions globally. He is instrumental in building high performing teams which deliver complex technology solution along with cloud integration, cloud strategy, and roadmap for our global client base with a huge focus on Automation and Dev Ops. His expertise also includes managing Budgets, Vendor Management, Contracts, and P&L.

He lays strong emphasis on governance policies, standards, IT finance, and guidelines while managing the Centre for Global Delivery across SD-WAN, Unified Communication (Voice, Video, Collaboration), networking, Cyber, and Information Security technologies.

Arun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from North Maharashtra University, India, spent over a decade in advancing through a series of Leadership positions with some of the largest global companies. Prior to joining Smart IMS, he has worked with leading organizations like UBS AG, JP Morgan Chase, DXC Technologies and Secure Meters Ltd. Arun is an excellent organizational leader with outstanding people skills, in-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and customer service sectors.

Prashanth Mitta

Executive Vice President

Prashanth Mitta, Head of Operations, Smart IMS, has been leading the Hyderabad, India operational activities setting strategic goals, reflecting steady growth of the organization’s strong offshore facility, enhancing customer satisfaction for the past 11+ years. Prashanth is also responsible for building the efficiency of business procedures aligning the same with organizational objectives, managing procurement process, resource allocation, budgets to promote profitability and customer support processes.

Prashanth holds Master’s Degree in Business Administration(MBA) from MIM New Delhi, spent over a decade in advancing through a series of Leadership positions. Gained significant global experience by heading operations and Business Development for Two Start Up Firms and has led multiple process, outsourcing Programs and running P & L accounts.
Prashanth is an excellent organizational leader with outstanding people skills, in-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles in supply chain, finance and customer service sectors.
